Hi I have been encountering the same problem as you and I have a hunch that this problem is due to the fact that the windows we are using is 64 bit where as the board drivers are only for 32 bit windows. You are now following this question You will see updates in your activity feed. However the problem seems to start when I try to connect the board to my new windows 7 laptop that the university kindly bought me so I could test the development board in the lab.
I'm experienced with software but not at using microcontrollers or DSPs and don't know wher to begin with getting a simple program on, like to flash the built in LED on the board.
